So we have been working on developing Covid Safe packages so that the burden of wondering how you will entertain guests is off of your shoulders. . just leave it to us. Current regulation for weddings include;Capacity must not exceed 150 guests, or one guest per 4 square metres for a wedding service (excluding the couple, the people involved in conducting the service and the photographer and the videographer), whichever is the lesser. If Entertainment is involved in the ceremony or reception ensure there are protections in place for guests, including at least 3 metres distance from performers. Only the wedding couple is permitted on a dance floor. The battle was everything you could ever want in a performance with some outstanding vocals from both parties as they consistently matched, if not topped the other throughout it’s enritity and therefore making the decision of who would go through extremely difficult to pick. In true rock fashion, which is by far our favourite part of the performance, was Emma’s knee slide across the stage towards the camera man below who got to capture a whole lot of attitude and sass as Em absolutely commanded that stage. With the tough decision to make, Kelly chose Mark to take through to the next round and unfortunately, the other coaches had no more saves left to keep Emma in the game. Although Em’s journey on The Voice has come to an end we couldn't be more proud of her and consider ourselves extremely lucky to have such exquisite talent in our Evoke family. Despite stepping away from the show to focus on the Evoke brand, Keep The Faith has been reborn and will be back for good! Jovi stepped onto the stage on Saturday night performing alongside some of the most talented Pole Dancers Australia has to offer. The Opening number choreographed by Chilli Rox was a mesmerising contemporary piece to the original recording of ‘Bed of Roses’ that became an incredible, almost illusionary reveal as Felix Cane emerged with the frontman himself to perform ‘Always’. Chris was also accompanied by Gracie Bun during the opening as they took the audience back to the wild west with ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’. On Saturday 19th October, the City of Ryde held their Annual Granny Smith Festival, which has grown to be the largest street festival in Sydney attracting 90,000 people each year. Emma, Chris and the Let’s Groove Tonight band have been working tirelessly to create their brand new show, having teamed up with Dauntless Movement Crew they have created a live band stunt show that has everything you would want in a performance and finally that hard work paid off with EXCITÉ’s official debut as the closing number on the Granny Smith Main Stage. As the sun was setting behind the stage, lighting up the sky like fire, on stage was just as spectacular with fire breathing, fire twirling and the killer live band featuring the impeccable vocals of Emma and Chris. Some lucky audience members were even invited up onto the stage to be a part of the team and had the crew performing stunts and acrobatics around them and even over them! Setting a classy and elegant tone for the evening, guests arrived at 6:30pm and made their way to the top level of the ship to enjoy cocktails and canapés while the band played a lounge set. 'At 7:30pm, our very sharp and dapper MC Phillip Franc led the party downstairs for dinner and formalities. Starting with bridal party entrances Evoke took care of cueing the music 'Boogie Wonderland' and 'Fantasy' by Earth Wind and Fire. The guests clapped and cheered for the newlyweds, dancing along to 'Fantasy. ' It was a great moment which built more excitement for what was to come later in the evening. A jazz music dinner set by 'Let's Groove Tonight' resonated through the ship and truly made dinner that extra bit special. After many heartfelt speeches from close family and friends, Christina and Ben took the floor with their choreographed first dance. Curzon Hall located in Marsfield is an iconic sandstone castle set upon three acres of glorious landscaped gardens. The castle has seven versatile event rooms, Jeremy and Danielle’s reception was help in Sabrina's View. With two hundred plus guests, Lets Groove Tonight played all their formality songs live throughout the evening. The highlight would have to be that special part of the night where dry ice flooded the stage as Jeremy and Danielle had their first dance as husband and wife to ‘Amazed’ by Lonestar. At the climax of the song fireworks shot off the bridal table in the middle of the dancefloor, and everyone was in awe. Our friends at Lightheart Films and Photography captured every intimate moment. Last Saturday whilst we were preoccupied with our Easter eggs, Party Rock People entertained the family for another big wedding at Sergeants Mess located at Chowder Bay amidst native bushland and views of Sydney Harbour. Jeremy and Annalise’s guests enjoyed the beautiful view with a drink in hand out on the balcony listening to the sweet sounds of a saxophone. The couple had their very own fireworks display out in the middle of the water and Annalise performed a special song for her new husband later that evening. The couple matched on Tinder in 2014 and caught up soon after. “We bonded over our love of 80s movies, retro video games, popcorn, trampolines and prank videos,” Annette says. Anthony, 37, popped the question in 2015 and the Sydneysiders began planning the big day. The ceremony was held in Bradfield Park on the water’s edge overlooking the Sydney Opera House on August 27, 2016 in front of 152 family and friends. “A Champagne toast was arranged for all guests once the ceremony was complete and allowed everyone to take in the stunning Sydney backdrop. Their reception kicked off at five in the afternoon and finished at ten in the evening. The Evoke Strings Trio played a mix of classical music and contemporary songs for the ceremony at Clark Park Lavender Bay. Arrangements of popular songs such as 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri, 'Use Somebody' by Kings of Leon and 'Here Comes the Sun' by none other than The Beatles. The Evoke String Trio really added that something special and personal to Samantha and Adrian's ceremony. Keeping the ceremony traditional with the strings, yet modern with their favourite contemporary songs. For the reception Evoke DJ Tim Densley, our go to wedding DJ for numerous wedding and corporate events in Sydney, had all the guests up dancing from the very first song to the very last, with a little help of some bubbly of course! The reception was simple and elegant, with stunning views of Sydney Harbour, the Bridge and city lights.
