Jay Parrino first came to public attention in 2009 as a finalist on ‘Australia’s Got Talent’. His unique version of Men at Work’s “Down Under” reached over 6 million hits on YouTube, making it the most viewed cover of the iconic Aussie anthem. It was even praised by Men at Work lead singer Colin Hay himself.
Jay’s cover of “Run to Paradise” attracted the attention of Choirboys lead singer Mark Gable who invited Jay to join the band as their guitarist on tour. Jay also recorded & released 3 songs with Choirboys including “Have You Ever Seen The Rain”.
Jay also performed on The Morning Show, The Voice and in 2018 as a judge on Channel 7’s hit singing show “All Together Now” where he recorded the opening song with pop superstar Ronan Keating.
In 2020, Jay went on tour with global superstar Michael Bublé as his opening act. During the Covid lockdowns, Jay turned his attention to recording & writing music for TV. Some of these songs have featured in WWE, NBA & even a Corvette commercial.
